WAYS TO PAY
With Discount Landlord plans, you can choose the payment option that is easiest for you. Pay the full premium up front, the minimum monthly amount due, or any amount in between.
Pay by Credit/Debit Card : Pay with Visa®, MasterCard® or debit or credit card over the phone or online. There is no additional charge for paying by Credit Card.
Direct Debit: Your monthly premium is automatically deducted from your designated financial account, so there’s no cheque to write and no worrying about a missed payment. Our Direct Debits are subject to a 10% premium charge, and the instalments are spread over ten months.

Should you wish to make any changes to your policy, you must inform us by telephoning our Customer Services Department on 0208 847 8000 or writing to Discount Landlord. Changes should be informed in advance of their happening.
IMPORTANT! FAILURE TO NOTIFY US OF ANY CHANGES COULD AFFECT THE VALIDITY OF YOUR INSURANCE.

HOW TO CLAIM
At Discount Landlord, we understand the importance of dealing with all claims quickly and efficiently. We understand and work with underwriters to ensure that matters are dealt with as soon as possible.
Please be aware of the following steps to help you with processing a claim.
Please call us and ask to speak with a claims adviser who will be able to assist you in handling your claim. It is always advisable to read through the policy wording, terms and conditions, which is attached to your insurance policy, to first check that the claim is covered by the policy.
Please note that you must submit your claim within 30 days as stipulated in the terms & conditions on your policy wording. Discount Landlord must be informed of any problems in submitting a claim within this time period. A Discount Landlord claims advisor will be able to advise about all aspects of your policy.
In order to process your claim swiftly the following information will need to be provided.
- Policy certificate number
- Details of claim
- Date of loss
- Estimated cost to repair/replace items involved
HOW TO CANCEL
You are entitled to cancel your insurance policy at any stage during the policy term. You are entitled to a period of 14 days in which to consider the content of your insurance policy and the extent of the cover therein. Cancellation of your policy within 14 days is therefore subject to a full refund. Cancellation after 14 days will be refunded pro rata less 15% of the total premium.
