The yields that can be expected by landlords increased during the second quarter of the year, according to the latest figures for the market.

Paragon’s Private Rented Sector Trends Survey revealed that landlords achieved an average yield of 6.5 per cent, an increase from 6.2 per cent in the first three months of the year. Read more…

Landlords in the city of Derby are facing fines of up to £20,000 if they allow their tenants run riot as part of a crackdown to tackle “broken down” communities.

The recession is set to impact on the fortunes of the high street and commercial landlords for a “number of years”, according to a new report.
