Over half of landlords have experienced void periods for their rental properties over the last 12 months but levels have stabilized, according to the National Landlords Association (NLA).
In March 2010 52% of landlords had experienced void periods in the last year, slightly down from the 55% during the last three months of 2009. This has resulted in 43% of landlords using their personal savings to meet their mortgage repayments in void periods. Read more…
